表情は大切なコミュニケーション

EVEの実技審査が終わりました！
レッスン内審査、実技審査に参加するのが好きな理由の1つはメンバーの顔が見られることです。YTJスタッフになってから、ずっとマスク着用でレッスンをしています。普段のメンバーの顔が、見れていません。

マスク着用の生活が始まってから、コミュニケーションには表情の重要性を感じました。
特に外国語でコミケーションする時に、表情が見られないと、見誤りやすいです。不自然な表現や言葉を使っても、相手に自分の表情を見せられたら、自分の気持ちをさらに伝えられます。

メンバーの顔をみたいですが、自分の顔もメンバーに見せたいです。

私が英語で話す時、YTJメンバーを安心させるために優しい表情をするのは大事です。安心したら、英語で喋るというチャレンジをしやすくなります。

マスク着用しないといけない世界の中で、マスクを外して表現できるリモートでない場所を提供するのはとても重要だと思います。審査や本番の時にメンバーの様々な顔や表情を見るのをとても楽しみにしています！

One of the reasons I like taking part in the auditions and performances is that it allows me to see the YTJ members’ faces. From the time I started working at YTJ , so I’ve always done the lessons wearing a mask and the members as well. I feel it's quite difficult not to see the members’ faces.

Since I’ve started to wear constantly a mask, I've realized how important is the facial expression in order to communicate properly. Especially when you communicate in a foreign language. When you can’t show your face, you can be easily misunderstood.
When you use an unnatural expression or a word  if you can show the person you’re talking to your facial expression then you can communicate your feelings more easily.

I want to see the member’s faces but I also want to show them my face.
When I speak English, it’s important to make them feel safe by showing a kind expression on my face. And if they feel safe that will encourage them to try to speak English, to express themselves.

In a world where we have to wear a mask every day, I think it’s very important to create real spaces like performances or auditions where children can fully express themselves.
I can’t wait to see the members’ various faces and expressions during the auditions and performances!
